About Me:

Throughout my younger years of life, I faced many struggling situations and addictions (drugs, alcohol and tobacco). I was never too concerned about my future or the physical condition of my body. When I learned about the grace of God, I realized I could be forgiven for everything and be given new life in Christ.

When I committed my life to Christ, my outlook on life began to change. I began to find meaning and purpose. CrossFit was one way to interact with others and share with them the changes that had taken place in my life. CrossFit opened my eyes to a whole new world of fitness and community-based relationships. The mental and physical aspects of CrossFit had me hooked. The everyday challenge I endured with every workout kept me coming back for more. I began pursuing new goals and striving to live a healthier lifestyle. My passion for helping others and sharing with them what had so greatly impacted me became a part of my everyday life.

CrossFit Anomaly is God’s way of allowing me to share my passion with you.

About Me:

During grade school, physical fitness and healthy eating habits were not of much importance to me at that particular time in my life. I became very unhappy with the lifestyle choices I was making and knew something needed to change! After committing my life to Jesus Christ, I realized that our bodies belong to Him and we must care for them just as He cares for us. We are to give Him the BEST of us in all that we do. Everything about myself began to change, both mentally and physically, and I couldn’t wait to share this new way of life with everyone. I received my Personal Trainer’s license in 2011 and began pursuing my new dreams and purpose in life; but the best part had yet to come….

I stumbled upon CrossFit in 2014, as a runner and weight trainer. CrossFit for me has become more than an exercise program, It has become a way of life. I began my journey toward what would prove itself to be the most intense, exhilarating, and humbling time of my life. With constantly varied, high-intensity functional movements, CrossFit training was definitely for me. I realized it was for people of all shapes, sizes, and ages to improve their physical well-being and cardiovascular fitness in a challenging, yet encouraging environment. However, in reality, CrossFit challenged me to push myself to become better physically, as well as mentally. I even began to have a competitive spirit! There were some struggles that came with this new growth, but I had the help of a personal coach to conquer fear, overcome obstacles, and improve as an athlete. I challenge everyone out there to step out of your comfort zone. It’s a privilege to be a part of CrossFit Anomaly.

About me:

I was first introduced to CrossFit in June of 2014, everything since then has been history. Skeptical at first, but within a few weeks I was hooked.  I obtained my L1 earlier this year to help me have a better understanding of the sport, and the things I learned have opened my eyes as to what CrossFit is really about.  I enjoy training others and love seeing the results that occur from the high intensity training that each athlete I help train goes through.  Since my introduction to CrossFit, I have seen myself and many other lives change in the process, and look forward to seeing many more life changing experiences.
